Operational Process Control

Operational functions of electric grid facilities process control at JSC Tyumenenergo involve 12 operational dispatching units and 31 regional dispatching centres, operating based on the Company`s respective branches. For development and centralisation of operational process control functions, on 01 January 2006 the Company established the Network Control Centre (NCC).

The Network Control Centre is responsible for coordination of all structural subdivisions of the Company`s operational process control.

The Network Control Centre performs non-operational functions aimed at addressing the challenges of optimizing business processes of operational process control, aimed at planning and optimizing operating practice of electric grid facilities and improving the quality of maintenance planning and management within the electric grid facilities.

Operational dispatching units and centres of JSC Tyumenenergo perform operational process control functions in accordance with the power lines, equipment and devices allocation lists by means of control within the framework of Company`s branch operational responsibility. Operational staff carries out operational functions on a round-the-clock basis in real-time mode, including control over operating practice of the Company`s electric grid facilities, elimination of accidents (disturbances), and preparation for maintenance at the electric grid facilities.

The Company`s operational process control is being continuously improved.

The work on forming a target model of operational process control of electric grid facilities of JSC Tyumenenergo was started in 2014, followed by development of the schedule of activities aimed at bringing the existing system to the target level.
