Last year was an anniversary year for JSC Tyumenenergo. It was not a challenge not only for electrical industry but also for all Russian economy.

However, throughout 35 years, the company has overcome a number of complex historical phases of national development and has always successfully met its goals. The results, obtained by the Company, allow us to speak with assurance about the stable position of the company during the period of economic instability.

JSC Tyumenenergo has again accomplished its main goal — the provision of reliable and high-quality energy supply to consumers on the territory of Tyumen Region, Khanty-Mansijsk Autonomous District (Yugra) and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District.

The volume of usable output has increased by 2% when compared to the previous year and overran 71.5 billion kWh in 2014.

The number of emergencies in JSC Tyumenenergo grids was reduced by 7%, which gives an evidence of progress, but this should not give cause for relaxation.

In 2014, the Company has focussed on achieving priority activity goals. Besides securing the main goal, we are focussing on the economic stability and good standing of the company. Thanks to the integrated approach to the cost estimate, the level of manageable operating costs and of administrative ones was reduced when compared to the previous year.

During this year, the implementation of important investment projects continued and we are sure to say that all undertaken projects will be completed. To improve energy infrastructure availability, the company has carried out a lot of work, and while in the north, this primarily includes collaboration with oil and gas majors such as Rosneft and Gazprom, in the south, agricultural-industrial complex electrification is gaining significance.

In 2014, the company paid considerable attention to the issues of innovative development and energy efficiency and service quality improvement.

The criteria of environmental efficiency and transparency remain consistently high in JSC Tyumenenergo. The awards and titles, received by the Company, according to results of national, regional and industry-specific contests, prove this. The company was acknowledged as the best one in three nominations of the All-Russian contest “Best Electric Grids of Russia”: “For Reliable Electric Supply”, “Innovation Project of the Year” and “Electric Grid Company with the Most Publicly Available Information”. Our work on children`s electrical accident prevention has received a special award in the nomination “Socially Oriented Electric Grid Company” in the same contest. The Company has kept the first place in all-Russian contest “Leader of Environmental Protection in Russia”.

The Company keeps up its reputation of a socially responsible company and a reliable employer.

One of the main targets for us is improvement of working conditions and safety of our employees.

Undertaking measures against those who violate safety rules is of primary importance, as there is nothing more valuable than life and health of people. The company brings into focus young people`s vocational guidance, collaboration with specialised educational institutions, and education of prospective energy workers generation. It is essential to note that we have achieved considerable success: the student construction brigade Energetic which worked on JSC Tyumenenergo construction sites in the third labour term, was recognised the best in the electric grid complex of Russia.

The Company participated in such large-scale events as Olympic Games 2014 held in Sochi: our best experts took part in preparing electric grid infrastructure of Sochi energy area and kept watch during the Olympic Games; for their participation, they received Commendation from JSC Rosseti.

Summarizing the work our Company has completed, I would like to express appreciation to JSC Tyumenenergo co-workers, our partners and consumers for effective collaboration. The results over the past year confirm that our activity priorities have been set correctly and allow the Company to look to the future with certainty.
