In 2014, the total output of electrical energy by the Federal Grid Company, electricity producers and allied grid companies to JSC JSC Tyumenenergo grids amounted to 73, 403.2 million kWh. 71, 535.0 million KWh was transmitted to end users and territorial grid companies (TGC). Electrical energy losses amounted to 1868.2 million kWh or 2.55% of JSC JSC Tyumenenergo electrical energy output.

Industrial activity results in 2014 year

The electric energy output to end users and allied TGCs within balance and operational responsibility limits amounted to 71, 535.0 million kWh that was 1341.0 million kWh or 1.91% more as compared to 2013 year results (70, 194.0 million kWh).

Changes in the Scope of Electrical Energy Transmission Services in 2013–2014

Based on the results of JSC JSC Tyumenenergo activities in 2014, the Scope of Electrical Energy Transmission Services made 63, 712.0 million kWh, which is 850.5 million kWh or 1.4 % greater than planned, when compared to 2013 results (62, 861.5 million kWh).

Actual Losses of Electrical Energy in 2013–2014

Based on results of 2014, electrical supply to JSC Tyumenenergo grid as compared to 2013 increased by 1371.3 mln kWh.

Amount of electrical energy output from the grid within the frames of the DGC increased by 1341.0 mln kWh. Taking into account an increase in electrical energy output and electrical transmission losses (increase in loading losses), the actual losses of electrical energy in 2014 as compared to 2013 was increased by 30.3 mln kWh. Relative loss level in 2014 is the same that was in 2013.

The losses delta in 2014 is due to the following factors:

• Increase in electrical energy supply to the grid;
• New grid facilities construction;
• Takeover of grid equipment owned by consolidation entities;
• Increased transit flows related to the repair program of OSC FGC UES of West Siberian Main Power Transmission Lines.

Activities on reduction of electrical energy losses

In JSC Tyumenenergo JSC Tyumenenergo Program of Power Saving and Energy Efficiency Improvement (hereinafter — Program) was developed and implemented, comprising several sub-programs. Implementation of integrated activities as per effective Program resulted in electrical energy loss reduction in JSC Tyumenenergo grids in 2014 amounted to 52.1 mln kWh, including the same, due to:

• organizational activities that reduced losses by 15.7 mln kWh;
• JSC Tyumenenergo Program of advanced development of electric power accounting systems for a retail market that reduced losses by 9.6 mln kWh;
• the Program of revamping and reconstruction that reduced losses by 26.8 mln kWh.

Structure and Trend of the Company Revenues and Expenses for Electric Energy Transmission Services

One of the main consumers of electric energy transmission services in the Tyumen Region is the guaranteed electric energy supply company JSC Tyumen Utilities Company. The share of JSC Tyumen Utilities Company in the structure of revenues from services on electric energy transmission is 15.2%. Amount of electric energy transferred by JSC Tyumen Utilities Company to the consumers in the reporting year is 8672.2 mln kWh and the cost of the rendered services amounted to 9097.4 mln RUB.

The share of energy sales organizations amounted to 70.9%. With the amount of the services rendered equal to 41, 415.3 mln kWh, the cost of the rendered services amounted to 42, 591.4 mln RUB. Within given consumer category there are companies purchasing electric energy both at the wholesale electricity market (hereinafter — WEM) or at the retail electricity market (REM).
